I like all the action in this scene, it really captures attention well. However, I personally think it would be better without the bird in there- the focal point of the piece seems to be the girl, and while the intricate shapes to the left are very cool, I feel like the bird somewhat distracts from the detail. I think the image would be less cluttered without it.

Of course, it's your art, so if you feel there's a good reason for it to be there than I'm sure I won't change your mind.

Otherwise, I think it's a really awesome work of art.

I would say that the focal point is the space between the bird and the girl, and the interest lies in their juxtaposition. To each their own! :)
